That, combined with an international level competition, and a dream team with a varied skill set made this event a memorable one. We were asked to broadly design the future of email, with a given set of references. We started off the challenge with Literature Research, reading papers, articles, blogs and reports. This was followed by an analysis round where we discussed our findings and summarized these to help us move forward. This also helped us plan our qualitative and quantitative user study to identify key problem areas. We then split up into groups to conduct one on one interviews with professors, students and those working in the industry.

Once complete, we sat down again to create an affinity of our findings and derive conclusions out of these. This was followed by a brainstorming session where we began off by making task flows, mind maps with the help of which we started discussing some initial ideas. After realizing we were short on time, we narrowed down on one idea and worked on creating paper prototypes and a final video for submission. A 2 page paper was also submitted as a part of the event. Lastly, during the course of the event, we made a total of 4 videos (within 24 hours) to showcase our process and work environment.
